Our model of wellbeing - what does it look like?

This is not an exhaustive model - it can be factored and tailored to you and. your people’s needs. Below are just a few of the offers we have available for you.

The biopsychosocial model of health is a holistic approach that recognises the interconnectedness of biological, psychological, and social factors and how this has a profound influence on a person’s health and wellbeing. At different times in our lives, depending on circumstance, different experiences can have a greater or lesser effect on wellbeing, so aligned experiences theoretically are not necessarily aligned in experience or presentation. Here at the Wellbeing Folk, we utilise this model as a guiding framework for promoting wellness in your workplace or at your events, making sure that although we have an offer to all your people, each person gets a unique and tailored experience, whether it is a seated massage or a meditation session. And it’s all done in a supportive and embodied way - no fanfare, just robust and heartfelt therapeutic practice.

By understanding that health is not merely the absence of disease, but a dynamic interplay of various factors, we create an environment that supports the physical, mental, and social health of individuals. By addressing the diverse needs of your people through the biopsychosocial lens, we bring our knowledge, experience and expertise which helps you to cultivate a culture that prioritises wellbeing.
